This charming little map depicts a portion of the western coast of India, including the cities of Surat, Mumbai, and Aurangabad to name a few. Rivers and topography are well represented, and many trails are shown leading north and east from Surat. Adorned by a decorative title cartouche, scale of miles, and compass rose. Issued in the October 1759 edition of London Magazine.
