This sheet contains three strip maps depicting automobile routes from New York City to Miami. In addition to the road network, there are numerous points of interest identified along the way primarily related to the Revolutionary War, Civil War, and Seminole Wars. Attributed to Edwin L. Sundberg in the lower right corner of the map. The verso is filled with numerous illustrations.

The New York Sunday News, or simply the Sunday News, was first published in 1866 by Benjamin Wood. This weekly newspaper ran continuously until the latter part of the 20th century when it was absorbed by New York Daily News, which is currently the 9th largest newspaper in the United States.
