This small map depicts the island of Rugen in the Baltic Sea. The map is filled with place names, and is adorned with a large compass rose and a decorative title cartouche. German text on verso. This map is very rare as it only appeared in the last two editions of Jansson's Atlas Minor in 1648-51.

A nice impression with light, scattered foxing that is confined to the blank margins.
