This Ptolemaic map covers the Nile River delta. It is an earlier edition without the sea creatures in the stipple engraved sea. Italian text on verso. From the third edition of Girolamo Ruscelli's translation of Claudius Ptolemy's Geographia, revised and corrected by Giovanni Malombra and printed by Giordano Ziletti.
