This is the northern sheet of this magnificent map of Scandinavia, depicting Norway, Sweden, and Finland from the Gulf of Bothnia north to the Barents Sea. Its cartography is based on Guillaume Delisle's 1708 map of the region. The map is filled with excellent detail of the topography and the cities, towns and villages. A brilliant figurative armorial cartouche dedicates the map to Charles XII, King of Sweden.
