Handsome map of Burgundy based on the 1563 map of Ferdinand de Lannoy that was suppressed by the Spaniards for political reasons. The map is oriented with east at the top of the sheet and is filled with graphic illustrations of the rivers, mountains, forest, fortifications and cities. Embellished with a strapwork title cartouche and coat of arms. French text on verso, published in 1598.
