This sheet is centered on a large, panoramic view of Constantinople with camels and merchants in the foreground. At left is a view of the Seraglio of the Sultan (Tokapi Palace), and at right is a view of the Hagia Sophia, an Ottoman imperial mosque. At bottom are columns of text describing the Sultans, the government, the religion, and key words related to the Ottoman Empire.

A crisp impression on a clean, bright sheet with a Strasbourg Lily watermark, several minor printer's crease along the centerfold, and light toning along the edges of the sheet.
