This handsome sea chart covers the coast of Southern France, extending from Palamos, Spain, to just north of Sanremo, Italy. It covers the Bay of Roses and the Gulf of Lion and names several notable towns and cities along the coast, including Narbonne, Montpellier, Marseilles, Toulon, and Nice. Rhumb lines and a compass rose fill the water. An inset zeroes in on the Bay of Toulon.

A dark impression with a few faint spots and a hint of toning along the centerfold. The centerfold has been reinforced on verso, repairing a couple short separations at top and bottom.
