This scarce oil map covers all of Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas along with portions of New Mexico, Missouri, Arkansas, and Louisiana. It prominently shows oil fields, gas fields, and "oil indications" in red overprinting with large concentrations depicted in northeastern Oklahoma and southern Kansas. This version of the map prominently shows the wells of Invader Oil Corporation of Muskogee, Oklahoma in blue overprinting, and was used to promote sales of their stock. Folds into beige paper wrappers (4 x 9").

Issued folding with two small areas of loss along the left vertical fold. There are a number of fold separations including a 7" tear/fold separation along the upper horizontal fold that has been partially closed on verso with archival tape. Paper wrappers have light wear and minor soiling.
