This chart shows the coast of Panama from the Gulf of San Blas to Isla de Pinos, encompassing the eastern portion of the coastline along the Caribbean Sea. Detail is confined to the waters with hundreds of depth soundings and navigational aids. A simple fleur-de-lis orients north to the bottom of the sheet. Engraved by Vicq. with the engraved seal of the Depot de la Marine at bottom right. The price "Trois Francs" appears below the neatline at right.

A superbly bright and clean example with the watermark of the Depot de la Marine. There is a grayish shadow along the centerfold that is caused by our scanner and doesn't appear on the map itself.
