This fascinating sheet features diagrams depicting the theories of the solar system based on Ptolemy, Tycho Brahe, Copernicus, and a composite of Ptolemy and Tycho. At the center of the sheet is the elaborate Systeme des Tourbillons. Four additional diagrams detail orbit patterns. The diagrams are flanked at left and right by French text explaining each theory. .

On paper with a bunch of grapes watermark, some light spots of foxing, and marginal damp stains.
