A. Perse, by Nicolas de Fer, from Methode pour Apprendre Facilement la Geographie, published 1689 (6.2 x 5.3"). Finely engraved small map of the Persian Empire filled with place names and decorated with a simple cartouche and armorial shield. Engraved by Lhuilier. Condition: A nice impression on watermarked paper with a professionally repaired centerfold separation at bottom.
B. Persia, by Johann Ulrich Muller, from Neu-Augefergter Kleiner Atlas, circa 1702 (3.1 x 2.5"). A tiny map of Persia filled with an incredible amount of information for its size. On a sheet of German text measuring 3.8 x 6.5". Condition: Clean and bright with a hint of toning along the edges of the sheet.
C. Roy de Perse, by Alain Manesson Mallet, from Description de l'Univers, circa 1683 (3.8 x 5.6"). A depiction of the King of Persia holding a spear, with a shield bearing a sun. French text on verso. Condition: Light marginal soiling.
