This small Italian map by G. Bonatti includes the large territories of Utah, New Mexico, and Oregon to the west of the Rocky Mountains. An unusual feature is the description of the land between the Rockies and the Missouri River, which is "Territori Tuttora Posseduti dai Seuvagi" or “Territories Still Owned by the Savages.”
