This stunning view depicts Lucerne in striking detail. The Reuss River and Lake Lucerne are prominently shown with several bridges spanning the waters, including the iconic Kapellbrucke, the covered wooden bridge that has become one of Switzerland's defining tourist attractions. There is fine detail of the city's various churches, buildings, and fortifications. Two lions hoist the coat of arms of the Holy Roman Empire above the waters of the lake.
