This is the southeast sheet of a four-sheet map of Southern and Southeast Asia, with each map containing its own title and stand-alone borders. It focuses on the islands of Borneo, Celebes, Java, New Guinea, Mindanao, and the Philippines. Borneo, Celebes, and Java have nice topographical detail and plenty of place names throughout, but on most of the other islands detail is largely confined to the coasts. The map is adorned with a compass rose capped with a fleur-de-lis. Across the bottom of the map there are three inset maps: Isle de Sumbawa, Isles de Serbira et de Solor, and Isles de Bouton et Pangesane, each with their own compass rose and distance scales.
