A decorative and detailed large-scale map of Madagascar, the Comoro islands, Reunion Island, and eastern Mozambique. Includes an incredible number of place names along the coast as well as graphical illustrations of the topography and forests in the interior. Decorated by a garland-style title cartouche, drape-style distance scales, and rhumb lines.

Minor foxing with some faint dampstains at top. There is a 1" edge tear at right that has been closed on verso with old paper.
