A handsome pair of eastern and western hemisphere maps on two separate sheets that have been joined together. In North America, the United States is confined to east of the Mississippi River and Alaska's shape is coming into form. In the Eastern Hemisphere, the eastern coast of Australia is New South Wales and Van Diemen's Land is properly depicted as an island. Engraved by T. Clerk.
