This detailed map showing the grounds of the United States Military Academy was compiled by the Office of the Post Engineer and updated to February 1954. It includes a numbered key naming all buildings with a smaller lettered key identifying monuments. Locates Fort Clinton, Drill Ground, The Parade, cemetery, and even a ski slope. The "Bullion Depository" at upper left was established in 1937 and for a time had the highest sliver deposits in the United States. It became part of the U.S. Mint in 1988 and today produces primarily commemorative coins.
