A fully engraved map centered on Milano that covers the region from Genoa to the Italian lakes region and is filled with scores of place names, many walled cities, villages, etc. This map illustrates the region where battles were fought during the first decade of the 18th century. The fortified towns of Verona, Mantua, Parma, Cremona, Morbergno, Placenza, Bobbio, Modena, Genova, Alba, and many more are located. Dated 1702, but published circa 1716.

A nice impression on a bright sheet with full contemporary color in the map and later color in the cartouche. There is a hint of toning along the centerfold and minor marginal soiling.
