This lovely view depicts Quebec during the French and Indian War. Based on a painting by Naval artist and designer Francis Swaine (itself based on a drawing by Hervey Smythe), the engraving presents a British square-rigger in the St. Lawrence River with a view of Quebec in the background. Engraved by Peter Rooker.
