This striking map focuses exclusively on the rivers and lakes of France with no additional place names or topographical detail. It delineates the courses of numerous rivers and tributaries and locates crossings as well. There is a decorative title cartouche at bottom left and an additional cartouche with descriptive French text and the publisher's imprint at top right.
