This large map is printed on two folio sheets and joined. There is incredible detail of the topography of the land. Hundreds of cities are labeled and each of Switzerland's 13 Cantons are delineated with the coat of arms for each shown both on the map as well as flanking the map. The distance scale is accompanied by a putto and the title cartouche features two men holding Swiss flags - one in a suit of armor and the other in traditional attire.

A nice impression on a bright sheet with marginal soiling and a small chip at top center. There are archival repairs to a short centerfold separation at bottom and several short edge tears.
