This handsome historical map is the northeastern sheet of a four-sheet set covering the Near and Middle East, Arabia, and the Indian subcontinent. It stretches from the easternmost edge of the Caspian Sea to the Brahmaputra River. It includes ancient place names and features terrific detail of the region's rivers and mountain regions.

A sharp impression on a sheet with a large watermark of a Maltese cross encircled in rosary beads. There is minor offsetting and faint scattered foxing along the upper neatline.
