This handsome map of the Iberian peninsula extends to show the Balearic Islands. The ancient provinces are illustrated along with rivers, mountains, and some of the major cities. Embellished with a drape-style title cartouches held aloft by a trio of cherubs. Dated 1640 but published in 1667.

References:

Condition: A

A sharp impression with contemporary outline color and later color in the cartouche, on a bright sheet with a large coat of arms watermark. There is marginal soiling and a hint of toning along the centerfold and edges of the sheet.
