This elegantly engraved map covers Germany, parts of present-day France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Poland and northern Italy. It shows the various tribes, towns, and ancient divisions of the region. There is a strapwork title cartouche at bottom left and two distance scales in a cartouche at top left. Dated 1641 but published in 1667.

Condition: A
A sharp impression with contemporary outline color and later color in the cartouche, on a bright sheet with a large coat of arms watermark. There is a hint of toning along the centerfold and very minor dampstains along the edges of the sheet.
