This attractive, large map of France extends to include some of the neighboring countries, and is filled with detail on towns, roads, rivers, and topography. A large table at right lists the departments, provinces and capitals. Decorated with a lovely rococo cartouche featuring a crown, scepter and sword.

Condition: B+

Contemporary outline color on a bright sheet with a large watermark of a Maltese cross encircled in rosary beads, with some soiling at top left. There is a stamp from the former Jesuit college of La Fleche on verso.
