This map by John R. Held, Jr. was published in Country Life Magazine in January 1931. It shows the ideal landscape for a fly-fisherman, with a large fish hatchery feeding numerous rivers and pools, all surrounded by signs for others to "keep out." Below the distance scale it is noted "as though it meant anything," alluding to fishermen exaggerating the size of their catch. On verso is the beginning of an article about Amelia Earhart.
