This uncommon double-hemisphere world map is filled with notations regarding geography and the discoveries of various explorers. Geographic detail is limited to major mountains and rivers with only a few cities noted. The geographic information and many of the notations are copied directly from Le Sage's map of the world. A chart at left shows the relative heights of mountains around the world, and a similar chart at right shows the relative length of the major rivers in Europe.
