The peninsula of Florida is shown as an archipelago of small islands, and the mythical Lake Parime is depicted in the interior of South America. There is considerable detail throughout including numerous place names along the coastlines and navigational hazards in the waters. Decorated by a simple block-style title cartouche and two distance scales.

Full contemporary color on a bright sheet with a Strasbourg Lily watermark and wide margins. There are a few minor spots in the image, marginal foxing, and several tiny tears along the edges of the sheet.
