It features small but intricate illustrations of the city's architectural landmarks, including the Augsburg Town Hall; the Perlachturm; the Fuggerei, the world's oldest social housing estate; and various historic churches. Trams and walkways are delineated. The ornate cartouche at bottom right features a key that identifies the birthplaces and/or residences of notable residents, including the artist Hans Holbein, Mozart, and Konrad Peutinger, the antiquarian who published a copy of the famous Tabula Peutingeriana. Designed and drawn by L. Leybold. Lithography and printing by Wilhelm Fiek. Published by Lampart & Comp. Folds into blue pebbled cloth covers with gilt title.
