This attractive pictorial map of Cape Cod by C.W. Holliday was published by the Town Crier Shop in Provincetown. The elaborate border provides an illustrated overview of the history and culture of the region, with vignettes showing Bartholomew Gosnold's exploration of the coast of Cape Cod, the founding of the town of Bourne, the Pilgrim Memorial Monument, the Chatham Light, and more. The map shows roads, lighthouses, airports, windmills, and notable attractions. Ships fill the surrounding water with flocks of birds flying overhead. A whale breaches the surface as does a "sacred cod." A decorative title cartouche and ornate compass rose complete the composition.
