This striking map covers the Ottoman Empire at the end of the 18th century, extending to Greece, Arabia and Egypt, with the Caspian and Black Seas and the eastern Mediterranean. The map is filled with details of towns, rivers and mountains. The gorgeous, large title cartouche is a monument with an Ottoman and smoking urns.

Condition: A

A sharp impression with full contemporary color on a bright sheet with an "M4G" watermark. There is a short printer's crease at top center and light foxing mostly confined to the blank margins.
