A superb large map of Hispaniola with a sizable inset of Martinique. The nicely detailed map covers the area to include the tip of Cuba, Turks & Caicos, and part of the Bahamas. The map is decorated by a grand decorative title cartouche and scale of miles.

Condition: B

Contemporary outline color on watermarked paper that has been trimmed to just inside the border at top right. Folded into quadrants by a previous owner with some light foxing.
