This disbound volume focuses on the travels of Franciscus Pizarrus (Pizarro) and Didacus Almagrus from Panama to Peru in the year 1526. It includes a lovely map that stretches from Costa Rica to northern Chili as well as 35 double-page engravings illustrating the conquest of the Inca people (although one plate is town and missing half of the image). The map features a large pictorial cartouche showing Pizarro landing in Peru. The engravings show numerous battle scenes between the Europeans and Natives
