This richly decorated map of eastern France covers the region from Lyon to Geneva and is fully engraved with forests, mountains, lakes, cities and villages. Decorated by a title cartouche with a blank coat of arms and a distance scale featuring putti and a surveyor. Blaeu's imprint appears at lower right. German text on verso.

A sharp, early impression with full contemporary color on a bright sheet with the watermark of Pieter Haeck. There are several light spots along the border at bottom and dampstains and weak paper in the bottom corners of the sheet.
