This pair of maps focuses on parts of southern Brandenburg and Saxony along the border with Poland. On the northern sheet, the Odra River borders the superb title cartouche, which features industrious people and is decorated with the coat of arms. The maps are densely engraved with hundreds of tiny towns, political boundaries, rivers, canals, lakes, marshes, and forests. The maps include the cities of Gubin, Lubben, Cottbus, Luckau, Spremberg, Gorlitz and Zittau.

The northern sheet has an excellent impression and the impression on the southern sheet is weak only in the title cartouche. Both sheets are clean and bright with full contemporary color.
