This fine map of the county has an inset plan of Monmouth and portrait of King Henry V who was born at Monmouth Castle. The map shows the six hundreds, cities, markets, towns and villages with a surprising amount of detail. Large strapwork cartouches balance the corners of the map. Imprint of John Sudbury and George Humble at bottom left. English text on verso.

A good impression with some minor foxing and soiling that is mostly in the blank margins. A few repaired edge chips and minor edge tears are all confined to the blank margins.
