This handsome map of Valencia covers the coastline from Cartagena to Benicarlo with north oriented to the right. It is boldly accented with a sailing ship, sea monster, and a fully engraved moiré-patterned sea in which decorative title and distance scale cartouches float. French text on verso, published in 1628 or 1633.

Full contemporary color on a watermarked sheet with light toning, an archivally repaired centerfold separation at bottom, a printer's crease in the bottom left corner, and some light, extraneous creasing.
