Finely engraved map of present-day Mongolia, northeast China and Korea. Hokkaido (Jeso-Gasima) appears just above the cartouche, which is finely engraved in the elaborate baroque style featuring leaves, flowers, and a teapot. Many cities, towns, and harbors appear in fine detail.

A crisp impression with contemporary color on a bright sheet with a "D[heart]Tamizier Auvergne Moyen" watermark, very light toning along the centerfold, and an edge tear at bottom right that has been closed on verso with old paper.
