This is a very handsome map of the Bavarian region of southern Germany centered on the Danube and Isar Rivers. Bold strapwork cartouches dominate the right side of the map. Latin text on verso.

A sharp impression with full contemporary color on a bright sheet with the crossed arrows watermark commonly found on Ortelius maps. There are a couple of minute holes along the centerfold, a minor abrasion along the centerfold at bottom, and marginal soiling. The green pigment has browned, but the paper is still supple.
