This map of West Riding in Yorkshire has a lovely pictorial cartouche featuring farmers, and the scale of miles is attended by a surveyor and a putto. Across the top of the map are eleven armorial shields, five of which bear family names plus three left blank. There are two larger coats of arms, including the royal crest and the arms of England, in the upper portion of the map. The map is filled with the detail typical of Blaeu's maps. Blank verso.

A crisp impression on a sheet with wide original margins. There is some even light toning in the image, a small rust spot along the upper border, and minor foxing in blank margins.
