**The following lots are beautiful, early, chromolithograph plates from Studer's Popular Ornithology The Birds of North America, published in Montreal, 1881. The plates were lithographed on stone by Theodore Jasper. Each measures 9 x 12"", overall fine with a bit of surface soil in margins.** The White-headed or Bald Eagle. Adult is shown delivering a fish dinner to the two chicks in its nest."
