This uncommon map is from Valgrisi's editions and is a typical Italian copperplate engraved map. It has a decisive outline of the coast. The origin of the Nile is shown considerably south of the Equator in two lakes. Madagascar is called 'Isola de Lorenzo' and is oddly shaped. Minor toning along fold.
