This illustration of a finely decorated vase was taken from the report by Dr. Jesse W. Fewkes titled "Two Summers' Work in Pueblo Ruins". Dr. Fewkes was a renowned archeologist and ethnographer who conducted several explorations in the heart of the pueblo country at the turn of the century. The pot is from Chevlon Ruin, Arizona, and shows the pot in a side and top view.
