Contains 50 maps, 35 modern and 15 ancient. Maps are copper engraved and hand colored in outline with nice engraved borders. The maps of North America and the United States depicts the United States with claims into present day British Columbia. Rebound in marbled boards with leather spine. Binding fine, content only fair.

All pages have toning and some foxing. Some pages have extensive writing in pencil in the margin and/or the map (affecting mostly European maps), and some have small tears and repairs in the margins.
