A large and very detailed copperplate engraved chart of the island of Cuba. Also shown are the tip of Florida and the Keys and southern Bahamas from Bimini eastward. Large decorative cartouche featuring snakes and a crocodile. Segmented and linen backed with vellum tab labeled in manuscript brown ink. Imprint of the Depot de la Marine.

Tiny bit of soiling, but remarkable condition for a working sea chart. Ink stain on linen backing, not affecting image.
