Beautiful USAF escape chart, printed on synthetic silk cloth on both sides, in mint condition. These extremely detailed aeronautical charts were issued to pilots to be worn as neck kerchiefs under their flight suits as part of their survival gear in the event they were shot down. Both maps on a 1:1,100,000 scale. A large escape chart from the early part of the Cold War.
