A scarce and significant map of Georgia based on Mathew Carey's map published the previous year. It covers from the Atlantic seaboard to the Mississippi River and shows good topographical information particularly for the eastern half. Early counties are named and their boundaries given. The interior, covering the present-day states of Alabama and Mississippi, is labeled Country of the Creek Nation of Indians with the notation "These parts are little known". First state of this fascinating early map.
