A very uncommon, small double hemisphere world map. In North America the Island of California is prominent. The northwest coastline is named Terra Iedso and appears to connect to the Asian continent. The British colonies are confined to the eastern seaboard and named Virginia. Dieman Land appears in the South Pacific as a large landmass located just below the Tropic of Capricorn. Tucked between the hemispheres are two diagrams of the solar system - the Tychonicum Systema and the Systema Copernicanum. The map is surrounded by allegorical representation of the four elements.
