Handsome bird's-eye plan of the city and fortifications of Jakarta, the capital of the Dutch East Indies. A detailed lettered and numbered key identifies the buildings and sites of importance. Charming layout includes fields and trees, and a compass rose completes the composition.

There is some faint uneven toning. Issued folded, now flattened with a binding trim nearly to the neatline at lower right side.
